Why a bridge ?
The roman bridge refers to the
emperor August. It also conveys
a "strong solid reliable" message. And of course a bridge is a link, which is very useful for working with clients.
I wanted the company name to start with "A". A few signs guided the choice :
I founded the company in August. In France August is traditionally the month for holidays. Indeed the right moment to start.
August was the first Emperor in Rome. The celebration of the 2000th anniversary of his death took place on August 19, 2014 ; it was precisely when I planned to start the company.
In French auguste means strong solid reliable, which is a good image for consultancy work.
And finally, my grandfather's name was Auguste, and I live rue Auguste Gaché in Grenoble.
The name "Auguste" suddenly appeared to be obvious.
